Taking pictures of the fam bam...you get what you pay for :)

I decided to post a few of my photo taking projects I've done recently.  I am no professional at all, and for that matter I am not very good, but my family keeps asking me to take pictures.  I figured you get what you pay for, so that can't hate the outcome too much.  I have challenged myself to move my camera off of the auto setting, and sometimes it is hard because I forget how to set the camera, but the more pictures I take, the better my odds of succeeding.

I'll start off with the oldest pictures first.  Brent's sister had a beautiful baby this winter and they asked me to take pictures of baby Faith.  I had never taken "newborn" pictures, so it was quite the experience, but we got a few keepers I think.  I am slowly learning how to edit pictures on the computer too, but I guess my ultimate goal is to not need to really edit, but I am a long way from there.

Next up is Brent's baby sister Becky.  Look at here all grown up and ready to graduate from high school.  Once we got over the awkward your my sister-in-law taking my pictures moments we were golden because Becky is a beauty.  It was quite windy which was super annoying, but it also made for some fun shots too.

Then comes the summer and I got a new lens for my camera.  I decided to sell my iPhone and make a ridiculous profit and buy something that would last me a while.  I am in LOVE!!! My sister was so gracious to bring the whole fam around so I could test out my new lens.
(This picture is hilarious to me because Abby thought it was soo funny to jump into everyone else's picture, and one of the best pictures of Abby has Lilly in it.  Oh the irony :)

Allie Brent's niece is super talented swimmer and beautiful.  I wish I had half the genes of Brent's family, but I guess that would just make things weird.  Anyhow, she is starting her senior year and they asked me to take some pictures of her in her swimsuits.  They came with lots of great ideas and poses, so the hardest part of my day was picking the best pictures because there were so many to choose from. It was the best day every, slightly overcast and the sun was hiding for all but 5 minutes of our extravaganza.

Now just this week I took pictures of Faith again.  She had lots of cute personality shine through, but no smiles for me this time around.

There we have it....a few of my pictures as of late.

Cramer Family Reunion 2013

It all started when my brother Jeff and his Awesome family made the journey to Boise from Colorado Springs! What a treck, but I am sure grateful they sacrificed this year to come all the way here.  My Mom and Calvin came up from Idaho Falls, so everyone had a good time together.  I took a few pictures throughout the weekend camping that I really enjoyed because I was able to test out my new camera lens in a different setting and more of a behind the scenes environment and I love the pictures I got. Enjoy!
